LOCH FYNE OYSTERS

Based at the head of Loch Fyne, we are dedicated to providing

our customers with Scotland’s finest fish and seafood. From our

internationally renowned Oyster Bar Restaurant and through the

products we sell globally, we pride ourselves on provenance,

quality and sustainability.

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our Oyster Bar

Restaurant Team in the following positions.

Waiting Staff

Temporary / Seasonal Positions

Starting Rate: £7.65 per hour

The successful applicants must have excellent customer service

skills, a positive personality, plus enjoy working as part of a team,

in a busy restaurant environment.

Duties include: taking customer orders, serving food and drink,

clearing / resetting tables, cash handling and dealing with

customers. Previous experience in a hospitality or catering role is

preferred, however training will be provided.

Shifts are variable, with evening and weekend working required.

Chef De Partie

Permanent Position

Starting Salary: £19,000 per annum

We require a highly motivated Chef de Partie to join our

Kitchen Team, preparing and cooking dishes from our menu.

The ideal candidate needs to have previous experience in a

similar environment working with fish and seafood, the ability to

work well under pressure in a fast paced kitchen, have strong

communication skills and excellent food hygiene standards.

Full-time hours, based on a 40 hour week (working five out of

seven days), with evening and weekend working required.

Commis Chef

Permanent Positions

Starting Rate: £7.65 per hour

We are looking for enthusiastic Commis Chefs to join our Kitchen

Team, preparing and cooking dishes from our menu. Experience

working with fish and seafood would be beneficial but is not

essential, though a passion for development is. You must be able

to work well under pressure, have good communication skills and

high food hygiene standards.

Shifts are variable, with evening and weekend working required.

Due to the nature of the shifts, own transport is essential; car

share option available.

Benefits include: 30 days holiday per annum (pro rata), share of

customer tips, uniform, pension scheme and staff discounts.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018

On Monday 12th February 2018, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order

under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will

be that for a temporary period, for the purpose of facilitating bridge inspections and

assessments to be carried out, no person shall drive or cause to or permit to be driven any

vehicle through the sections of road on the dates and at the times as indicated in the

schedule below.

SCHEDULE – Prohibition of Traffic

(1) Monday 19th February 2018 between 1230 and 1630 hours

That section of the U12 Succoth Road, Strachur as carried by Balliemeanach Bridge,

a distance of 20 metres or thereby.

Diversion: Via UC12 and A815.

(2) Tuesday 20th February 2018 between 0900-1200 and 1300-1630 hours

That section of the B839 Hells Glen-Lochgoilhead Road, Lochgoil as carried by

Monevechaden Bridge, a distance of 30 metres or thereby.

Diversion: Via B828, A83, and A815 and vice versa. Scheduled buses will be permitted.

(3) Wednesday 21st February 2018 between 0900-1200 and 1300-1630 hours

That section of the U46 Kilbride Road, Dunoon as carried by Kilbride Bridge, a distance

of 30 metres or thereby.

Diversion: Via UC46 Kilbride Road, A815 Wellington Street and UC07 Auchamore Road

and vice versa.

(4) Thursday 22nd February 2018 between 0900 and 1200 hours

That section of the B866 Springfield Colintraive Road, Colintraive as carried by Clachavoil

Bridge, a distance of 30 metres or thereby.

Diversion: Via B866, A885 and vice versa.

(5) Thursday 22nd February 2018 between 1300 and 1600 hours

That section of the B866 Springfield Colintraive Road, Colintraive as carried by Fearnoch

Bridge, a distance of 30 metres or thereby.

Diversion: Via B866, A885 and vice versa.

Exceptions will apply to any vehicle being used for carrying out the works; being used

in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard

purposes; or being driven upon the direction and with the prior

permission of the Council.
