Hygiene Operative
Cairndow, Argyll Salary: £12,051 - £13,237 We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative for our
Processing Plant at Cairndow, Argyll. This position will assist
and provide support to the Hygiene Supervisor in
maintaining the daily hygiene within the processing plant.
Previous experience working within a hygiene environment
is preferred, but not essential as full training will be given.
Due to the nature of the business, all applicants must be
flexible in their roles and working hours. The core hours are
Monday to Friday evenings commencing at 8pm. A full
driving license own transport is also essential for this
position.

CONDITIONS OF USE AND ACCESS TO THE
DUNOON OBSERVER NEWSPAPER ARCHIVES
1) White gloves will be used at all times
when viewing any archive copy.
2) A charge of £2 per hour for the first four
hours, thereafter £1 per hour will be
levied for access to the archives.
3) No photocopying of any pages of the
archives will be permitted. Instead, a
customer can have the required item
scanned and a charge of £2 for each
item will be levied - this can then be
e-mailed to customer or printed off at the
time of capture.
4) There will not be a charge for customers
wishing to copy out text from any of the
archives.
5) Access to the archives will be permitted
between 1pm and 5pm every Thursday
and between 9am and 4pm every Friday.

Commis Chef to join our busy Kitchen Team in our award
winning Oyster Bar Restaurant, assisting in the smooth
running of the kitchen, preparing and cooking dishes from
our menu.
Experience in a similar environment working with fish and
seafood would be preferred but is not essential, though a
passion for food and development is. You must also be able
to work well under pressure in a fast paced kitchen, plus
have good communication skills and excellent food hygiene
standards.
Full-time hours, with evening and weekend working
required.
Due to the nature of the shifts, own transport is essential.
Car share available from/to Helensburgh, Alexandria and
Dumbarton.
