COWAL GOLF CLUB COMMUNITY FIREWORKS

AddThis Social Bookmark Button

Tonight (Thursday, November 5) saw a fabulous show of fire and fireworks from Cowal Golf Club - with Over £2,500 spent on the 25-minute extravaganza of bangs, whistles, thunder and a kaleidoscope of blazing colour. The community event is continually growing - and fast becoming a unmissable date on the Cowal calendar.

Event organiser and local Community Policeman Donald MacKay said "It's a pleasure for the club to host such a popular community event for all the family. Despite the prior weather, the spirit and atmosphere was there to be seen.

"A lot of organisation from the committee goes into the event but it wouldn't happen without our generous Sponsors (Eric Boyd, Ross Petro and Ross McArthur, CBPS and GTi) and the donations from those who attend annually. See you all next year for the safest way to enjoy Guy Fawkes Night!"
