Argyll Ferries’ Dunoon-Gourock route will operate on a reduced timetable for three days next week – and will not allow wheelchair or mobility scooter users, or passengers with large prams, to use the boats while the revised timetable is in operation.
The revised timetable, between Tuesday October 8 and Thursday October 10, is to allow linkspan repairs at Gourock.
Dunoon ferries will berth at the steps normally used by the Kilcreggan ferry, which are not suitable for wheelchair users or large prams.
Boats will operate an hourle service during the day, and daytime sailings will be supplemented by an hourly bus between Dunoon and Gourock Railway Station via Western Ferries.
See Friday’s Standard for more details.
