A816 CRASH CYCLIST HOSPITALISED

A cyclist is in a serious condition in Glasgow’s Soutern General Hospital after being hit by a car on the A816 near Lochgilphead.
The 41-year-old man was struck by a Vauxhall Corsa on the northbound A816, one mile north of Lochgilphead, at about 9.10pm on Sunday.
The Corsa then collided with a Ford Focus being driven southbound. Neither of the male drivers was injured.
The cyclist is in a stable condition. Police have appealed for witnesses.
