100 JOBS TO GO AT NHS HIGHLAND

NHS Highland announced yesterday (Friday) that is is to shed 100 jobs, 70 from management and administration and the rest from nursing staff – but  the board claims that services will not suffer.

SERIOUS ACCIDENT AT LOCH ECK

A serious accident which occurred today (Sunday) on the A815 near Loch Eck Caravan Park by Dunoon has resulted in two men being injured. The Dunoon Observer understands that one man was uplifted by air ambulance.
