LOCH Lomond and The Trossachs National Park will launch a six-week consultation next Friday (February 19) for communities to lodge any objections to the finalised National Park Local Plan.
The final stage of consultation provides an opportunity to submit objection to the plan if there are outstanding concerns. Objections will be considered by a Scottish Government reporter, who will make final recommendations on the plan.
Cowal proposals are:
Kilmun: To include a new housing allocation of 16 units at Finnartmore.
Strone: To include a new housing allocation of 10 units on High Road.
Ardentinny: Following feedback from the local community regarding the proposed allocation south of Lochview it is proposed that an element of housing (10 units) will be retained on this site as well as introducing two new sites at Finnartmore, Kilmun (16 units) and High Road, Strone (10 units).
A drop in session will be held on Wednesday 24 February in Kilmun Younger Hall from 2 to 8pm. The National Park Forward Planning Team will be available to discuss any proposals in the Plan
