FATAL ACCIDENT - LOCH ECK ROAD

The A815 road between Strachur and Dunoon was closed on the evening of Sunday July 18 after a motorcyclist was killed following a collision with a truck on the shores of Loch Eck.

The accident took place at Coire Ealt, between Glenbranter and Whistlefield, at around 4.40pm on Sunday.

Strathclyde Police have confirmed that following an incident on Thursday on the A885, High Road, Sandbank, the 46-year-old woman involved in a fall from an ambulance succumbed to her injuries within the Southern General Hospital, Glasgow yesterday (Sunday).
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal
