JIM CROW GREYED OUT - AGAIN

AddThis Social Bookmark Button

Jim Crow Rock, at Hunter's Quay near Dunoon has, once again, been painted grey - obliterating the features which made it a local landmark.

It was painted over the weekend with grey undercoat by, it appears, somebody in a hurry - as they didn't manage to paint the top of the rock.

The same thing happened last year - when the universities and colleges were on holiday - amid accusations of racist overtones to the rock painted with a crow's face.

Last year the 'crow's' features were painted back within a few weeks.

A full report will follow.
